چکیده

This paper is devoted to the existence of a weak solution system describing self-propelled motion rigid body in viscous fluid whole ℝ 3 . The modelled by incompressible nonhomogeneous Navier-Stokes with nonnegative density. described balance linear and angular momentum. We consider case where slip allowed at fluid-solid interface through Navier condition prove global solution.

Smoothness of the motion of a rigid body immersed in an incompressible perfect fluid

We consider the motion of a rigid body immersed in an incompressible perfect fluid which occupies a threedimensional bounded domain. For such a system the Cauchy problem is well-posed locally in time if the initial velocity of the fluid is in the Hölder space C. In this paper we prove that the smoothness of the motion of the rigid body may be only limited by the smoothness of the boundaries (of...

Small moving rigid body into a viscous incompressible fluid

We consider a single disk moving under the influence of a 2D viscous fluid and we study the asymptotic as the size of the solid tends to zero. If the density of the solid is independent of ε, the energy equality is not sufficient to obtain a uniform estimate for the solid velocity. This will be achieved thanks to the optimal Lp − Lq decay estimates of the semigroup associated to the fluid-rigid...

Self-propelled motion in a viscous compressible fluid

In this paper we focus on an existence of a weak solution to a system describing a self-propelled motion of a single deformable body in a viscous compressible fluid which occupies a bounded domain in the 3 dimensional Euclidean space. The considered governing system for the fluid is the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equation. We prove an existence of a weak solution up to a collision.

Self-propelled motion in a viscous compressible fluid – unbounded domains

In this paper we study the self-propelled motion of a single deformable body in a viscous compressible fluid which occupies whole 3-dimensional Euclidean space. The considered governing system for the fluid is the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations. The main result of this paper is the existence of a weak solution on a time interval (0,+∞).

Motion of a rigid body in a viscous fluid

We introduce a concept of weak solution for a boundary value problem modelling the motion of a rigid body immersed in a viscous fluid. The time variation of the fluid’s domain (due to the motion of the rigid body) is not known a priori, so we deal with a free boundary value problem. Our main theorem asserts the existence of at least one weak solution for this problem. The result is global in ti...
